From September 7th to 8th 2006 the "5th International Workshop on Embedded  Systems"  will be held at the T.E.I. of Crete in Heraklion, Crete.

 Workshop topics are:

 - Embedded Systems
 - Internet Programming
 - Industrial IT
 - Control Systems and E-Automation
 - PDAs, Mobile Devices, Wireless Applications
 - Microcontrollers
 - Cybernetic Networks
 - XML, SOAP
 - Java, Java Programming
 - Fieldbus Systems
 - Multimedia Systems
 - E/D-Learning in Engineering


 Presentations can be given in the form of lectures, tutorials, practical  demonstrations or combinations of these forms.

 We will also prepare a poster session to offer an additional forum for the  presentation of relevant topics in R&D&M.

Presentations will be accepted for the workshop sessions and for the poster sessions.

Types and duration of workshop sessions:

• Paper Presentation: 30 minutes
• Lecture/Tutorial: 60/120 minutes or as indicated by author

Submission Instructions for Abstracts:
The abstracts should be prepared according to the following format:
Abstract of about 200 words, MS-Word or PDF format, in English.
Poster (preview) prepared in A4 format (210x297mm) as an MS-Word or PDF document.
Please indicate which topic(s) the contribution should belong to.

Submission Form:
Abstracts and Posters should be transmitted to the workshop secretariat as e-mail-attachments.
