6th International Workshop on Embedded Systems 2007

Call for Papers and Paper Submission

The International workshop on Embedded Systems (IWES) offers great opportunities to staff from academia and industry to present and discover the advances in technology and research results in the fields of Ambient Intelligence and Embedded Systems.

This is the sixth in the series that has been held annually since 2001, and will bring together leading engineers, scientists and managers, around the world to benefit from the event and share their visions of the Embedded System future in the intteligent environment.

The world we are living will be surrounded by a large number of heterogeneous computing and communication infrastructures and smart devices that will co-operate with each other to enhance the entertainment services and user productivity. Diversity in infrastructure along with the growing demands in mobility and interoperability, make the development of Embedded System more complex and difficult. Researchers and Developers of such technology must consider all possibilities driven by an intelligent environment to create adequate solutions.

The main focus of 6th Workshop will be on the Embedded Systems adapted to the future challenges created by the intelligent environment. In this setting, topics dealing with concepts, problems, solutions, open issues and future directions in the field of Ambient Intelligence and embedded systems are of interest.
