Welcome to the 6th International Workshop on Ambient Intelligence and Embedded Systems
Date and location: September 6-7, 2007, VAMK, Vaasa, Finland
The International workshop on Embedded Systems (IWES) offers great opportunities to staff from academia and industry to present and discover the advances in technology and research results in the fields of Ambient Intelligence and Embedded Systems.
This is the sixth in the series that has been held annually since 2001, and will bring together leading engineers, scientists and managers, around the world to benefit from the event and share their visions of the Embedded System future in the intteligent environment.
The world we are living will be surrounded by a large number of heterogeneous computing and communication infrastructures and smart devices that will co-operate with each other to enhance the entertainment services and user productivity. Diversity in infrastructure along with the growing demands in mobility and interoperability, make the development of Embedded System more complex and difficult. Researchers and Developers of such technology must consider all possibilities driven by an intelligent environment to create adequate solutions.
The International Workshop will be organised before the international week of Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu (VAMK), University of Applied Sciences, where many staff members from partner universities will meet to present their organisations and strengthen their co-operation within the framework of the European programs for education and training.
In addition to these, many companies from the ostrobothnia region of Finland are expected to attend the 2007 edition of the workshop.
Don't miss this ideal opportunity to share visions, see new perspectives and opportunities and to develop and extend professional peer to peer contacts and networks and to present your product and business area.
