Hamburg University of Applied Sciences: The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg for short) was founded in its current form in 1970 and is one of the seven research-oriented German universities of applied sciences in the UAS7 network. The university is divided into four faculties with 18 departments spread across four locations in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. It offers bachelor's and master's degree programs. The courses are also strongly oriented towards the job market.
